Shortly after announcing their strategic combination in June 2026, LucyRx CEO David Blair and Abarca Health CEO Jason Borschow shared their perspective with Modern Healthcare on where the PBM industry is headed and the vital role technology, accountability, and scale play in improving prescription care.
The duo also shared their vision for the Abarca and LucyRx partnership, saying the organizations aim to bring complementary capabilities and scale to a market that continues to evolve, while remaining focused on improving prescription care for their members. “It’s about driving real accountability, both in terms of saving money for the payers, but also in a better experience for members and providers,” said Borschow.
